It was a nice movie, the characters were nice and believable, the acting was spectacular, the parts that were in the past looked nice, and the overall message of never giving up is a nice lesson that applies to any and all no matter how old or young you are.
I'd suggest it to a few people, if you like cooking this movie will entertain you, and even if you don't want to be a cook, the comedy and characters will keep you interested.

May 6th reflections
#1 how are the concepts you are currently learning about in class/school reflected in the movie Julie & Julia?
I dont know... I am not curently learning about anything related to dreams or goals... I dont have a cooking class... I'm not learnig about determination... I'm not learning about personal heroes... I dont think anything from this movie applies to anything I'm learning.
-Accept that doing anything well requires hard work.
Julia wasn’t satisfied to take culinary classes or write recipes off-the-cuff — her kitchen was her laboratory. While in culinary school, she’d come home from class and spend hours working out the hows and whys of what she’d learned that day. When writing recipes, she’d test every ingredient and measurement, experimenting with mayonnaise until she was certain no one could possibly have written more on the subject than she had. “I had never taken anything so seriously in my life — husband and cat excepted — and I could hardly bear to be away from the kitchen,” she wrote.

Questions
What are your interests, hobbies, and/or passions?
I enjoy playing my Xbox 360, it is my favorite hobby. I love art, mainly sculptures and animation. I love to read, or write my own stories. A passion of mine has to be becoming a video game programmer, I get to make money off of creating something that I love, it sounds like the perfect job for me.
Do you think that you have to have your life completely figured out by the age if 30? Why or why not?
No. There is no way to plan for every event and it would be pointless to try and do it. You do have to have many things figured out and planned for you by that age, but not everything will be...
